Sales Development Representative
We are hiring a Sales Development Representative for a tech startup company in the software/technology industry. This is a Part-Time remote role for a US based client. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive communicator who can master “context-switching” across three distinct outreach lanes: recruiting talent, acquiring customers, and building industry partnerships. You will act as the digital right hand to the Founder, managing high-level LinkedIn prospecting and CRM hygiene with a focus on quality over quantity.
Key Responsibilities:
- LinkedIn List Building & QA: Run Sales Navigator searches based on provided filters for three lanes: Hiring, Customers, and Partnerships. Refine results to ensure 100% relevance before outreach.
- Personalized Outbound: Research prospects to find 1–3 “hooks” (recent posts, company news, etc.) to customize pre-scaffolded templates in the Founder’s voice.
- Inbox & Reply Management: Triage all incoming LinkedIn messages, drafting responses for review or sending directly once calibrated. Manage scheduling and book meetings into the Founder’s calendar.
- CRM Hygiene: Log every contact and interaction in the CRM (Attio) with consistent tagging and structure. Ensure no duplicates and maintain high data integrity.
- Reporting: Deliver weekly async reports on connection rates, reply rates, and pipeline movement per lane.
- Multi-Account Management: Once the SOPs are mastered on the Founder’s account, scale the process across other team members’ accounts while maintaining their unique voices.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in LinkedIn prospecting, SDR/lead generation, or B2B outreach
- 2+ years proven experience building lead lists and managing outreach at scale
- Excellent written English with strong grammar and personalization skills
- High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive data and login credentials
- Comfortable working during US business hours (Central Time overlap)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow SOPs
- Reliable remote work setup meeting the system requirements below
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and message sequencing
- Familiarity with tools such as Apollo, Hunter, or similar for lead enrichment
- CRM proficiency (e.g.,Attio, HubSpot, Salesforce) and basic A/B testing of outreach
Required Skills & Tools:
- LinkedIn (profile searches, saved leads, and messaging; Sales Navigator a plus)
- Google Sheets/Docs or Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting
- Calendar and email management (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Calendly)
Schedule & Pay:
- Part-Time position; 20 hours/week to start with potential to scale to Full-Time; 4–6 hours overlap with US Central Time (CT), Monday–Friday
- Fully remote role for a US based client.
- Pay ranges from R7 000 – R9 000 (Note: this is not a commission based role, as it purely focuses on lead list building / prospecting. As the role evolves, this will solely be considered on the clients discretion).
