Remote Outbound B2B Sales Representative
Scale Suite (www.scalesuite.com.au) is a Sydney-based finance services firm. We provide embedded finance and HR teams to Australian SMEs as a smarter, cheaper alternative to hiring full-time internal staff. Bookkeeping, payroll, BAS compliance, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, financial modelling, fractional CFO strategy, all delivered by a Chartered Accountant-led team on a fixed monthly fee.
We are looking for a driven outbound B2B sales rep to open pipeline and generate qualified opportunities in the Australian SME market.
What this role is
– You are the front end of our sales engine
– Find the right prospects, get them on the phone, qualify them, and hand off warm, qualified opportunities for proposal and close
– Research and build prospect lists, run email sequences, and make outbound calls to Australian business owners
– When a prospect is qualified and interested, hand them to the founder who will create a custom proposal and run the closing call
– Longer term, the full sales cycle including proposals and closing will transition to you as you prove yourself and learn the product deeply
– For now, your focus is pipeline generation, qualification, and booking qualified opportunities
– You will work directly with the founder to build and optimise the outbound sales engine from scratch, including AI-powered tools and workflows
– This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape how we sell, not just run someone else’s playbook
– Target market: Australian SMEs with $2M to $20M revenue, 10 to 50 staff, across trades, professional services, e-commerce, property, hospitality and more
Activity and performance expectations
– Minimum 30 high-quality outbound calls per day. The phone is your primary weapon. If you prefer hiding behind emails, this is not the role for you.
– 20 to 40 emails per day to warm, follow up, and supplement call outreach
– 8 to 12 qualified opportunities handed off for proposal per month
– Month 1 target: 1 new client conversion
– Month 2 onwards: 2 new client conversions per month
– A “qualified opportunity” means: right decision-maker, right company size, confirmed interest in understanding our service, and booked for a proposal/closing call with the founder
Compensation
– Base salary: R15,000 to R20,000 per month (low base, the real money is in performance)
– $750 AUD commission per closed deal, paid on receipt of first client payment. Uncapped. No ceiling.
– Every close adds roughly R8,700 to your monthly pay
– At 1 close per month: approximately R23,700 to R28,700 total
– At 2 closes per month (target): approximately R32,400 to R37,400 total
– At 3 closes per month: approximately R41,100 to R46,100 total
– At 4+ closes per month: R49,800 to R54,800 and up
– Hit your target of 2 closes and you have more than doubled your base. Go above that and you are clearing serious money.
– Commission structure reviewed and enhanced at 6 months for proven performers, including potential transition to full-cycle closing with higher commission rates
Hours
– During ramp-up you need to overlap with Australian business hours for training, call coaching, and live collaboration
– Once you are consistently hitting targets, hours become flexible around output
– We care about results, not clock-watching
Trial period
– 8-week paid trial
– The bar is clear: 1 client conversion in month 1, 2 in month 2
– If you hit it, you are in. If you do not, we part ways cleanly.
– We are looking for someone exceptional, not someone who is comfortable

– A product that genuinely saves clients $50k to $70k+ per year. When you find the right person at the right time, this sells itself.
Real long-term upside as the company scales. This is not a churn-and-burn contractor gig.
What we are looking for
– Proven outbound B2B sales experience: cold calling, appointment setting, and ideally some closing experience
– Clear, confident, professional English on the phone
– Self-directed and disciplined. You will have support but you will not be micromanaged.
– Experience targeting English-speaking markets. Australian market knowledge is a strong advantage.
– Reliable internet and a quiet workspace
