The Role:

We are looking for an E-commerce Assistant to own key areas of our online store operations. You will be responsible for managing product launches, website promotions, and the overall maintenance of the website, ensuring a smooth and engaging shopping experience for our customers. This role is crucial in driving the success of our e-commerce channel.

Responsibilities:

Website Maintenance:

  • Own the process of refreshing the website based on seasonality, customer behavior, and strategic priorities.
  • Lead website updates for promotions and sales, managing banners, navigation, product display pages (PDPs), and ensuring smooth user navigation.
  • Oversee navigation updates in line with e-commerce strategy.
  • Create and update various content areas of the website on a daily basis.
  • Respond to content requests, ensuring timely execution.
  • Continuously optimize the website based on top search trends, improving product discoverability and user experience.
  • Implement on-site SEO updates based on the SEO specialist’s requests, ensuring the site is optimized for search engines.

 

Product Launches & Merchandising:

  • Manage the product launch process, including creating product upload CSVs and assisting the E-commerce Manager in category merchandising.
  • Ensure product listing pages (PLPs) are regularly maintained and accurately display products.
  • Build new collections as identified by the E-commerce Manager, ensuring they are live and optimized for visibility.

Promotion Ownership & Planning:

  • Fully own the planning and execution of website promotions, using Asana to track and implement promotional strategies. Identifying learnings for future promotions and optimisations.
  • Proactively monitor ongoing promotions, ensuring everything is running smoothly and promotions conclude correctly.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing Shopify D2C stores and e-commerce operations is beneficial.
  • Ability to take ownership of product launches, promotions, and website management.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
