About the position

 

They seek a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their UK team.

As an SDR, you will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and driving the early stages of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities using multiple channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by nurturing leads and setting up appointments for the sales team.
  • Prospecting: Conduct market research to identify target accounts and key decision-makers within the financial services sector.
  • Outreach and Engagement: Craft personalized outreach messages and deliver compelling pitches to engage potential clients effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and ensure seamless lead transitions.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and progress in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and timely follow-ups.
  • Metrics Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics, including call volume, conversion rates, and appointment setting.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, company offerings, and competitor activities within the financial services industry to identify opportunities and refine sales approaches.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related role within the financial services industry is required.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and persuasive demeanor.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple leads simultaneously.
  • Resilience: Positive attitude and perseverance in overcoming objections and meeting targets.
