Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to lead the development of our Streaming and Video Module. This platform enables seamless live streaming, video hosting, and interactive media experiences, empowering users to broadcast events, host webinars, and collaborate through video. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining product strategy, optimizing user experiences, and delivering innovative video features that meet the needs of our diverse user base. You will work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to bring cutting-edge video solutions to life and ensure seamless integration with other modules.
Responsibilities

- Define the product vision, objectives, and key results for the Streaming and Video Module, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and user needs.
- Lead the development of new features, including live streaming capabilities, video recording, video conferencing, and content hosting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including event organizers, educators, and content creators, to gather feedback and prioritize product enhancements.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to create user-friendly, high-performance video experiences that support both live and on-demand content.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
- Monitor platform performance and user behavior to drive continuous improvement, scalability, and reliability of the video module.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in video streaming, video collaboration, and interactive media to ensure the platform remains competitive.
- Foster a collaborative, user-centric culture within the product team, promoting continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications

- Minimum 2-3 years of product management (or related role) experience in video streaming, video conferencing, or media platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred, not required).
- Experience with video streaming technologies, video conferencing tools, and related APIs (e.g., WebRTC, HLS, RTMP).
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles for video interfaces, including live broadcasting, video playback, and video hosting.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools like Atlassian products (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Product Discovery).
- Proven track record of managing product development from ideation to delivery, including setting timelines and ensuring timely releases.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to optimizing video performance and user engagement.
- Passion for innovative video solutions and staying current with emerging technologies in the streaming and video space.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, balancing multiple projects and competing priorities.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality video experiences.
