Job Description
This is a remote position.
A UK-based gardening and landscaping business is seeking a part-time (4 hours per day / 20 hours per week) remote Office Manager to support the owner with daily client and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, and ideally have an interest in gardening.
Responsibilities:
Customer communication:
– Respond to customer inquiries via messaging
– Manage and follow up on leads
Business Operations:
– Prepare and send quotes
– Schedule and manage bookings
– Organise and maintain gardeners’ calendars
– Check and coordinate gardener availability
– Generate and send invoices to clients
Digital Marketing:
– Update and maintain Google Business Profile
– Manage Facebook and Instagram business accounts
– Create and schedule social media posts
Networking:
– Engage in Facebook groups to promote the business
– Build relationships with potential clients and partners online
Administrative Support
– General administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Experience working as a VA, preferably for a client in the UK
- Fully set up home office with good fibre and internet connection and power back-up
- Excellent written communication in English
- Proficiency in digital tools and social media platforms
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles
- Customer service orientation
