This Digital Designer role is fully remote and open to applicants based anywhere in South Africa. The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience as a Digital Designer in a leadership role delivering software/platform projects.

TEKenable delivers software applications to our clients through software project implementations delivered through desktop, tablet and mobile. These applications require ongoing “Business as Usual” support and maintenance via our support function. This support team also interacts with our other functions for design & deliver, software engineering and platforms teams.

Design work will include creating print and digital materials, such as brochures, flyers, posters, website banners, presentations, social media graphics, and other TEkenable marketing collateral.

Digital Designer Responsibilities:
-Create images in line with TEKenable marketing strategy and brand strategy (Adhering and interpreting to the brand Corporate Identity and guidelines correctly)
-Display a range of creative design techniques to materialise the concept and design required.
-Plan concept by studying information and materials to ensure all information is included.
-Achieve deadlines and working as quick and efficiently as possible.
-Ensure that all internal templates are always up-to-date
-Anticipate the type of design required based on past experience and feedback.
-Updating of website (WordPress)

People:
-Ensure that all artwork, designs, approvals etc. are chronologically saved/backed up.
-Ensure error free designs with accurate content.
-Ability to work on multiple items simultaneously.

Growth and new markets/products:
-Be up to date with current graphic design trends, industry best practices and tools and techniques.
-Keep abreast with competitor activity, market innovation, market trends, customer trends.

Digital Designer Skills:
-Strong analytic and artistic ability.
-Demonstrate strong computer skills specific to graphic design software.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-High level of creativity and focus.
-Ability to meet deadlines efficiently through effective planning and coordination.
-Ability to approach work with dedication and high sense of accountability.
-Able to work independently.
-Attention to detail.

Digital Designer Requirements:
-Relevant qualification in Graphic Design or similar.
-Demonstrable skills in Graphic Design and layout.
-Experience with desktop publishing tools Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), WordPress and Video software.
-Experience working with photoshop.
