Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented part-time Data Analyst with expertise in marketing analytics to support a UK-based client. This remote role will be focused on delivering actionable insights for UK clients, primarily working with CRM data to improve customer insights, shape marketing strategies, and optimize campaigns. You will utilize leading data platforms like DataEQ, Nielsen, and Ipsos to analyze CRM data and drive key marketing decisions.
- Marketing Insights: Collaborate with marketing teams to provide insights on campaign performance, customer segmentation, and ROI through the analysis of key marketing data metrics.
- Advanced Reporting: Create detailed, clear, and actionable reports that guide clients in making data-driven decisions.
- Data Integration: Integrate and analyse data from multiple sources, including CRM platforms and third-party market research tools such as DataEQ, Nielsen, and Ipsos.
- Trend Analysis: Use historical and current data to spot trends and opportunities that can help shape future marketing strategies.
- Data Visualisation: Build intuitive and impactful dashboards and visualisations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Client Communication: Present findings and insights clearly to clients and internal stakeholders, translating complex data into understandable and actionable recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with new analytical methodologies and tools to continuously improve your data analysis and reporting processes.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a Data Analyst, ideally with a focus on marketing data and CRM systems.
- Tools & Platforms: Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), and experience with analytics platforms like DataEQ, Nielsen, Ipsos, or similar.
- Data Analysis: Strong knowledge of data manipulation and analysis techniques, with expertise in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools.
- Marketing Analytics: Familiarity with marketing metrics, including customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLV), churn rate, and other marketing KPIs.
- Reporting & Visualisation: Proficiency in data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio. Experience in creating reports and dashboards that deliver insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and concisely to clients.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Statistical Knowledge: Understanding of statistical analysis and methodologies for drawing insights from data.
- Scripting/Programming: Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
